Arranged for two bassoons with modified lyrics by Trevor Cramer, and dedicated to all orchestra bassoon sections worldwide!

The camaraderie amongst bassoonists is legendary, and orchestra sections remain together for many years. Sitting "Side by Side" one gets to know one's colleague quite well. The performers are encouraged to both play and sing (repeating sections as necessary) using the slight modification to the lyrics of the 1927 classic, which have been provided by the arranged. Perhaps this is a suitable encore after a performance of the Vanhall, Dietter, Johansen, or other concerto for two bassoons?
