These single movement quintets subtitled "Peanut Butter on Rye" and "Pink Lemonade" are tuneful and accessible. They are written in a funk style using classical harmonies and melody. Samples can be heard at the composer's website www.silasdurocher.com. They are very creative and would a great addition to a professional recital as well as a children's concert.
