A new 3-movement work for which the composer won the prize of "Emerging Composer" in the 2011 New York Art Ensemble's Young Composer's Competition. The general concept of this work in based on a child's dream. The first movement is probably a nightmare, probably about a carnival. The second movement seems to be switching between a lullaby and a bedtime story. This happy story slowly dissolves throughout, warping itself. The third movement (a rondo) follows a detective, going through various suspects, but right before the case is solved, the child wakes up.
