Christmas Suite
for woodwind quintet: flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon

This arrangement was made for and premiered by the Jackson (Mississippi) Symphony Wind Quintet. Some of the melodies are treated in a rather traditional manner while others, notably Jingle Bells and Good King Wenceslas, are developed to a larger extent. The arranger hopes that this suite will be fun for both the audience and the players. Melodies used in the suite include: Deck the Halls, O Come All Ye Faithful, JIngle Bells, Away in a Manger, Pat-a-Pan, Good King Wenceslas, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
