This is the Sonata for Bassoon and Piano, op. 168, re-worked for bassoon and orchestra by Richard W. Sargeant, Jr. The solo bassoon part is kept intact with minor corrections with one exception. IN the third movement, measure 65 beat 2 to measure 99 beat 1, an Orchestral Interlude was added. This is the only major change in the original solo bassoon part, and the soloist should split measure 65 adding on quarter beat rest, 33 measures of rest, and one quarter beat rest if using the original part.
Instrumentation: 2FL/2OB/2CL/2BSN/2HN/2TPT Timpani Harp VLN1/VLN2/VLA/CEL/KB
This set comes with a complete score, solo bassoon part, and one each of the above instrumental parts.
