Edited by Fabio Rizzi, this work introduces Desdemona's famous aria from Rossini's, Otello, "Assisa ai pie di un salice" in the central episode. The beautiful relaxed cantabile playing passes from one instrument to another, with the piano in particular producing lively fiorituras.
