PROGRAM NOTES
From an early age, Tupman the Chinchilla knew he was different.
As a rescue chin', Tupman never knew his parents or background. When he came of age it became clear that he was no ordinary chinchilla!
Already named after the rotund gentleman in Dickens' Pickwick Papers who fancied himself a ladies’ man, his physical abilities, nevertheless, outstripped those of his friends, and he quickly fell into a secret life as a superhero.
Now his days are spent leaping across rooftops and scampering through alleyways, performing heroic feats as the city's greatest protector.
But by night, he still yearns for his long lost love, the beautiful and mysterious Norma, who joins him in his dreams and never leaves his mind.
