Arranged by Wenzel Sedlak
for two oboes, two clarinets, two horns, two trumpets, two bassoons, and contrabassoon
by Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868) - Italian opera composer
Arranged by Wenzel Sedlak
This is scored for the standard WW8 of pairs of clarinets, oboes, horns, and bassoons. Quite often the contrabassoon was also added, which is the case with this transcription. Sedlak was also known to add pairs of trumpets, which this version includes, and even a trombone, which it does not. It can be performed as a standard WW8 if desired. The trumpet parts are somewhat optional.
