Edited by Brian Klitz with a continuo realization by Leonard Seeber. This sonata by an anonymous "Mr. Carolo" comes from a period (ca. 1710) when it was fashionable to publish salon music that might be performed by various combinations of instruments, and the title page clearly indicates that it is to be played not only be bassoons, but by whatever instruments are available.
