Lorenzo is a Venetian glass clown. After leaving his 'birthplace', he dallied for a while in Switzerland, Belgium and South Wales (Cardiff) before settling in England (London). Then he moved to the isle of Wight- where he suffered the indignity of forming an indispensable part of a television aerial setup! He was then given to my wife Maureen, and had at least four different homes in Swindon and Derby before finally settling north of the Border. Just as real clowns do, he has witnessed a very wide range of human situations. This width of expression is reflected in the music, which may be light-hearted and playful at times, but is also quite serious, and even sorrowful. But Lorenzo has an indomitable spirit, and he always seems to end up smiling!
