for two bassoons and percussion

This work was written as an introductory offering when I was newly hired as a university instructor. Two other new faculty members joined me in the premiere performance in 1975. The initial staging had the percussion setup in the center of the stage, with "dueling bassoons" on either side. It was revised in 2007, and again in 2014.
