ABOUT THE MUSIC

This composition for Woodwind Quintet is a set of six whimsical and widely different musical sketches. Each is named to indicate the mood, situation or visual image being portrayed. Meant to be highly entertaining for the listener, these pieces are also fun to play although in some cases, quite challenging rhythmically. The titles are 1. Dance on the Green (it has a Celtic flair); 2. Troubled Thoughts; 3. Gravitas; 4. Joviality; 5. Along the Brook; and 6. ¿Qué tal? (What's Happening? - it has a Latin feel).
