The publication of this encore repertoire should close a gap in the woodwind quintet literature. Naturally the usage of single movements of well-known quintets (Hindemith, Ibert, etc) or classical arrangements of encores is not excluded. It is intended that this offer to woodwind groups should be widened through works that are composed exclusively for this purpose. Reputable Austrian composer were invited to contribute to the compilation fo this publication. All the works were intended for the Austrian Woodwind Quintet.
