Method for Bassoon
by Julius Weissenborn (1837-1888) - German bassoonist, composer, and pedagogue
This 160-page volume is revised and edited by Fred Bettoney, this edition is the most popular of all of the Weissenborn Methods, and may be the one you grew up on! It includes the original "Practical Method for Bassoon" as well as the "Fifty Advanced Studies, op. 8, #2". Also included in this edition are a fingering chart and a trill chart, the Almenraeder "Scale Studies", Milde's "25 Scale Studies", and the bassoon part to Weber's "Andante e Rondo Ongarese". It is often referred to as the "Green" or "Gold" cover edition, or the "Cundy-Bettoney" Weissenborn.
