Studie ueber Mehrklaenge may be perhaps more accurately translated as "A Study in Multiphonics". This solo piece for oboe written in 1971 features constant use of extended technique, including multiphonics, key-slaps, timbral trills, and pitch bending. A guide in included for some of the more non-standard notation.
