Short yet picturesque, The Lemon Lily Waltz makes a great concert opener or closer. It tells the story of the Lemon Lillies that grow in Idyllwild and are becoming more endangered year after year. Idyllwild hosts a yearly festival to celebrate this beautiful flower and to bring attention to this threatened native lily. Premiered by Ryan Zwahlen, oboe, and Jeanette Yaryan, piano in Temecula, CA in 2012.
