This short work is partially inspired by aspect of jazz, especially the unique character of the unique rhythms in up-tempo jazz. Originally for bassoon and two percussionists, the piano version is by the composer. This edition comes with one piano score, one score for the bassoon, timbales, and marimba version, plus solo parts for bassoon, timbales, and marimba.
